You're not wrong, there's... [ he shakes his head ] A wretched screaming. Do you deal in spirits often?

I do. Or at least... they're very common in my home. Especially in settings like this.

[gesturing vaguely to the shrine]

I wonder if they're acting up because the shrine's in such disarray...

I suppose even spirits want a bit of color in their lives. A shame we don't have much in the way of repairing the place.

Hm...

[buzen crosses his arms and looks around]

Maybe... If we clean stuff up? Start weeding, and then washing the wood... That might make them a little happier!

I mean, if it is a place of worship, it probably is looking for a bit of care.

[ there's a soft twinge when he thinks about that. no doubt, pike would have said something like that. ]

Why don't we have a look around... perhaps see if there's a project or two that we could start.

[nods! buzen will just start racing forward as if to start his inspection immediately]

I like the sound of that! If we could get the water to even be mostly clean, that might be enough to start washing it... though if we could get someone to bless it, that'd be even better.

[ oh god this boy he nyoom. thankfully, percy's no slouch in the speed department so he'll head off after him to listen in. ]

Do we know of any people who might be able to do that sort of thing? Blessing? At least among our number?

[ he's not a holy man, but... holy people have helped him before so. it's probably worth fixing the place up for them. ]
