Essentially. Their numbers tend to make them such a problem. Alone, they're fragile but en masse it's nigh unmanageable. Not to mention they can make nearly anything undead fall to their whims. Undead animals, undead giants... a pain, really.
Believe me, I do as well. The undead are really only vulnerable to holy items or holy light, so... it's hard to come by unless you have a friend in the business of being a cleric.
