It's hard to tell when we don't know what happened, isn't it? I want to say yes because that's how it was for the others - they all wanted to attack each other. But if the rules of how it affected Kazumin changed, then maybe who was affected changed, too. I mean... even for a fire and everything, Kazumin wasn't hurt much, you know? So maybe he was the only one affected, and Naryu was trying not to hurt him.

Those sorts of spells can certainly lead to irrationality, trying to justify your actions no matter what. It would make sense. Naruhodo did seem to favor trying to run if the carnival was anything to go by...
Exactly! He could have been trying to wait it out, like it wore off with the others. So I guess the question then is just... why would the prism do that? It's probably something to do with that letter you found before, right?
