It was... an unfortunate shot in the dark. We were sort of hoping you all might come sliding out before the thing really started to ignite.
It was a bit of a touch and go situation, to be fair, it was eating everything in sight but.

We have something like that where I'm from, but they're imbued with magic. Putting wheels on shoes is rather brilliant if you want to speed along. And to have a compartment that they come out from means you won't have to be stuck rolling.

Yeah... Maybe there's some rules to it? Like last week, they said they snapped right out of it once they left the area it started in. So the influence could be something like that, only... based on a correct accusation or guilty verdict.

It's hard to tell when we don't know what happened, isn't it?
I want to say yes because that's how it was for the others - they all wanted to attack each other. But if the rules of how it affected Kazumin changed, then maybe who was affected changed, too. I mean... even for a fire and everything, Kazumin wasn't hurt much, you know? So maybe he was the only one affected, and Naryu was trying not to hurt him.
