Clowns aren't all bad... but it would have been better than this.
He was being influenced by something, wasn't he? Like when ZenZen and the others attacked each other last week?

You've seen this kind of thing before?

[ oh. there's a pause from kazunari's end after the read receipt pops up where he simply doesn't respond at all. ]

You don't have to talk about it. It may not be the exact same thing, you know?

Like when the trial ended, you mean?

[ the way kazumin just snapped back to reality... ]

Yeah... Maybe there's some rules to it? Like last week, they said they snapped right out of it once they left the area it started in. So the influence could be something like that, only... based on a correct accusation or guilty verdict.
I just don't understand why it would make him want to hurt Naryu in the first place.

It's hard to tell when we don't know what happened, isn't it?
I want to say yes because that's how it was for the others - they all wanted to attack each other. But if the rules of how it affected Kazumin changed, then maybe who was affected changed, too. I mean... even for a fire and everything, Kazumin wasn't hurt much, you know? So maybe he was the only one affected, and Naryu was trying not to hurt him.

Exactly! He could have been trying to wait it out, like it wore off with the others.
So I guess the question then is just... why would the prism do that? It's probably something to do with that letter you found before, right?
